Notice 04
Data Processing
These terms describe how we process data on your behalf when you connect batteries, vehicles, chargers and drivers to the platform. You decide what data is sent and why; we process it only to provide the service.
1. Roles
For battery telemetry and driver-linked data you connect, you are the controller and we are the processor. For account and website data, we act as controller as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Categories of data
- Battery readings: voltage, current, temperature, state of charge, cycles, resistance estimates.
- Asset data: battery serials, vehicle IDs, depots, chargers, swap stations.
- Location data from telematics, where you provide it.
- Driver identifiers linked to charging sessions, where you provide them.
3. Processing instructions
We process data only to run the modules in your plan, keep the service secure and produce the reports you request. We do not process it for advertising and do not sell it.
4. Security measures
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Role-based access by workspace, depot and region, with audit logs on Pack plans.
- Hashing of stored readings to keep warranty evidence tamper-evident.
- Staff access to customer data only for support, on request, and logged.
5. Sub-processors
We use cloud hosting, email delivery and payment providers to run the service. A current list is available on request, and we give notice before adding a new sub-processor that handles telemetry data.
6. Incidents
If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we notify you without undue delay, and within 72 hours, with what we know and what we are doing about it.
7. Deletion and export
You can export your data at any time. At the end of service we delete workspace data within 30 days, and from backups within a further 35 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Requests
To request a signed data processing agreement or the sub-processor list, contact the Contact.
